Pianist to accompany silent movies at Waterstone

Pianist Richard Hughes will perform at Waterstone at Wellesley on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Hughes will play the piano while silent films play beside him. While trained in classical music, Hughes enjoys playing boogie woogie, ragtime, pop and scores from silent movies. He also incorporates slapstick comedy and other elements of Vaudeville into his performances. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.
