Feb. 11

2:07 p.m. - A contractor fell from scaffolding police said was about 10 feet tall. Police said the man was complaining about pain in his and also had a laceration there. He was taken to the hospital. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration Office was called to investigate.

Feb. 13

3:39 p.m. - Police were called about a check the caller said was fraudulently cashed. The report is incomplete at this time and no further information is available.

Feb. 14

10:01 a.m. - Police have petitioned Dedham District Court for an arrest warrant after officers said a man drove away from a traffic stop, struck two cars, and sent police on a brief chase. Police said they pulled over a man on Worcester Street, and learned the man's registration was revoked for a lack of insurance. The man was initially stopped for an expired inspection sticker, police said. When officers told the man he needed to have the vehicle towed, police said the suspect drove away after the officer went to his cruiser to complete paperwork. Police followed the suspect and said he struck to other cars stopped at a red light while trying to pass them. Police said they stopped following the suspect's GMC utility vehicle after it was clear he wasn't going to stop. The warrant for his arrest includes the following charges: negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, speeding, refusal to stop for police, unsafe lane change, failure to stop for a red light, operating of an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an uninspected motor vehicle.

12:46 p.m. Police were called to the Lower Falls area when a parent called and said their 15-year-old daughter got out of the car and went off. The caller could not find the teen. Police checked the area and couldn't find her, but at 2:30 p.m., the parent called police and said the girl came come.

Feb. 15

10 a.m. - A woman called police and said someone stole her mother's credit card and charged $600 on it at two grocery stores in August 2018. She said she called the credit card company, who told her she needed to file a police report to dispute the charges.

3:26 p.m. - Police spoke with a woman who said someone vandalized her vehicle between Feb. 12 and Feb. 14. The car was parked in her driveway. The woman told police when she started the car, several warning lights turned on. She brought it to a dealership and was told she had about $687 worth of damage.

Feb. 17

12:21 p.m. A man called police and said he was a victim of identity fraud. He said he got an email from the credit card company to verify his address change. The man told police he called the credit card company and told them he had not requested an address change. He was informed that a replacement credit card was requested and was to be mailed to the new address. The man canceled the new card.
