Man Arrested After Hit And Run, Charged With Operating Under the Influence
Police arrested a 63-year-old local man Friday night and charged him with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident after property damage and operating reckless as to endanger after he allegedly hit parked and moving cars on his way through town, according to a police report.

Police received two calls about the hit and runs which described the car and gave a license plate number.
Gary V. Jacobson of 9 Oakland Street was pulled over by Officer Ron Poirier after turning onto Oakland Street from Route 9 after his vehicle and plate number matched the description called in by witnesses, according to the report.

Officer Poirier approached the vehicle and spoke with the driver who he described as having glassy eyes and slurring his words. The officer also detected the smell of alcohol, according to the report.
Jacobson agreed to perform three field sobriety tests, including standing on one leg, a nine step walk and turn and horizontal gaze, according to the report which said he failed all three.
He was placed under arrest at 8:35 p.m., brought to the station and released on bail.
Man Ordered From His Father’s Apartment
A Framingham man apparently staying in his hospitalized father’s Washington Street apartment was arrested last Tuesday morning after he refused to leave when asked to by the Wellesley Housing Authority and Wellesley Police, according to police records.
The WHA called police who responded and found Matthew Scott Morrill, whose name was not on the lease, in the apartment. When he was told he could not be in there, Scott became angry and began to shout and act in an aggressive manner, according to the police report.
Officer Michael Lemenager then charged the 39-year-old with disorderly conduct
and transported him to court.
Lynn Man Charged With Driving After His License Was Suspended
Willem Robert Wonsang of Western Avenue in Lynn was charged with driving with a suspended license after a random traffic stop by Officer Connor Ashe.
Officer Ashe stopped Wonsang on Route 9 by Sun Life of Canada and charged the 37-year-old after checking his license and finding it had been suspended, according to police.
17-year-old Charged With Assault and Battery
Police responded to a call from 30 Park Avenue at 1:30 a.m. last Saturday saying there was a fight in progress. When they arrived at the residence, however, they found no one fighting.
But after speaking with people at the scene, police determined there had been an altercation and charged Caroline Peta with assault and battery and resisting arrest, according to police.
Hastings Street Man Arrested On Assault Charges
Police were called to 66 Hastings Street by a person requesting that a man be removed from the apartment, according to police.
When police arrived and spoke to the parties, they placed Mark A. Eagling under arrest and charged him with assault and battery, according to police.
He was brought to the station and released on bail.
