Question of the Day: The Haynes Management Situation, Whose Side Are You On?

Last week, several Wellesley Patch readers commented on the directory listing for , a Wellesley-based real estate management and development company. The stream of comments slamming the company, which began Wednesday night, June 16 and continued through the day Thursday, June 17, were made in the wake of a WCVB-TV online story about how the company let a veteran employee go after he told them his wife had been diagnosed with cancer.

Haynes made a statement reported in the Wellesley Townsman June 16, which stated that the company followed “appropriate practices,” that the media reports were inaccurate, and that Haynes stands by its employees.

Haynes Management has been in business for at least a decade and has not come under this type of fire in the past.
