Question of the Day: Will Tian Fu Be Back?

Last fall, Whole Foods and a local restaurant in what was nearly a yearlong battle for the property at 446 Washington St.

Property managers Gravestar, Inc. pulled Star Market’s lease last summer, forcing it to leave. As a byproduct of that, the beloved restaurant, which subleased space from Star Market, had to go as well to make way for a new Whole Foods Market, being constructed now.

This question is not about right and wrong – that battle played out publicly last year. Instead, this question is about weather you think Tian Fu will return.

Owners Li Zhen Yu and Jian an Chen have been mum on this issue, though they have said they’re looking for new space. Tian Fu even sponsored a float in last weekend’s parade.

Will Tian Fu return? If so, will it return in Wellesley?
