Roadwork Alert: Night Paving on Washington

Announcement by the town of Wellesley:

The Washington Street Roadway Improvements Project final paving is scheduled for the nights of September 4th and 5th. The work will take place on Washington Street between Laurel Avenue and Route 9 between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Police details will be on-site during the paving operation. A minimum of one lane of traffic will be maintained throughout the majority of the project in order to minimize impact on traffic.

The work will be accomplished by D & R Paving under the direction of the Department of Public Works.
