Rt. 9 Traffic Watch: Truck Carrying Truck Slams Into Bridge
A truck carrying a van along Route 9 appears to have tried to squeeze under a bridge it was too big for, according to Wellesley Police.
WELLESLEY, MA — A tractor trailer carrying a van appears to have missed the memo on height restrictions on bridges along Route 9 East.
Wellesley Police said they are on the scene along with the tractor trailer, which appears to have damaged its cargo when it went attempted to go under a bridge, along on Rt 9 east at Rt 16. Photos show an otherwise new looking white work van with parts of its roof crushed.
Expect delays headed eastbound, Police said.

At this point it doesn't appear anyone was injured. And hey, at least it wasn't a moving truck on Storrow Drive.
