Saheli Offers Emotional Well-Being Symposium in September

The day-long mental health awareness symposium is taking place in Wellesley.

Saheli Boston is holding a day-long mental health awareness symposium at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, 95 Worcester Street, Wellesley, on Sept. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 pm.

The symposium, sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim, will feature panels including “Motherhood: respecting the invisible work of motherhood,” “Precarious manhood: understanding manhood and men’s vulnerabilities,” “Building resilency in teenagers: the demands upon a teenager in this culture”, and “Domestic violence: narratives of resiliency.”

The keynote speaker is Dr. Nicholas Covino, president of Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. The event is free and open to the public, but requires registration online or by calling 1-866-4SAHELI.
