In Support of Immigrants, Some in Wellesley Will Leave a Light On

The "Wellesley Window Vigil" will be held this Sunday.

WELLESLEY, MA – A group of advocates in Wellesley is asking that you leave a light on this weekend in support of the town's immigrant community.

The "Wellesley Window Vigil" will be held Sunday, Feb. 12, and you can participate with just a flick of the switch. Any electric or battery powered candle or lantern will also work.

The group hopes the movement will start a peace vigil throughout the town following recent executive orders from the president putting significant restrictions on immigration in the United States.
