Three Things to do This Weekend in Wellesley

Football and the great outdoors.

1.     is hosting an all day conference on women in business today. The Center for Women's Leadership at Babson College and the American Association of University Women are co-sponsoring the event, taking place at Babson's Executive Conference Center beginning at 8:30 a.m. today and ending at 5:00 p.m. Keynote speaker, Edie Hunt, global head of talent management at Goldman Sachs, will address the conference in the morning.

2.     The Wellesley Raiders football team (6-2) will take on the undefeated Weymouth Wildcats this weekend at home. The Raiders are in second place in the Bay State Conference-Herget division. There are only two games left after this one, which promises to be a thrilling game against two powerhouses angling toward the playoffs. Kickoff is at 2 p.m.

3.     When this piece goes live, you'll have one hour to get to the Longfellow Pond parking lot, located on the left side of Oakland Street 0.9 miles south of Route 9. Here, you'll be met by the Wellesley Natural Resource Commission's Trails Committee, who will lead the group on a walk of Sudbury Path. This is part of the Committee's series of nature walks going on throughout fall. A full schedule can be found at the Committee's website.
