Traffic Alert: Wellesley- I-95N Exit 20B ramp to Route 9W to close

WELLESLEY - This weekend you may want to plan ahead if you're using Route 9 and I-95. At 10 p.m. on Friday, May 5, the I-95 northbound Exit 20B off-ramp to Route 9 West heading toward Wellesley will be closed in order to allow construction on the off-ramp, according to MassDot.

Signs should be in place to let drivers know about the detour route: Travelers on I-95 northbound looking to access Route 9 westbound should continue past Exit 20B, take Exit 21, take a left onto Route 16 (Washington Street), take the immediate on-ramp for I-95 South, and use Exit 20B to continue to Route 9 westbound (Worcester Street).

The construction is slated to end and the road should be back to normal by 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 7, says MassDOT.
