Two OUI Arrests In Wellesley Christmas Week
One of the arrests happened on Christmas Eve.
WELLESLEY, MA — The holidays aren't just known for presents and giving but can also be a popular time for drunken drivers to hit the roads. Wellesley police stopped and arrested two people during Christmas week and charged them with driving under the influence.
The first incident happened on Christmas Eve, just before 6:30 p.m. Police received a report of an erratic driver on Worcester Street. Officers pulled over the driver, Alberto Robles near Dearborn Road. While police spoke with Robles, they noticed his eyes were glassy and his speech was slurred, according to the report. His car smelled of alcohol, police said.
When officers gave Robles a series of sobriety tests he could not successfully complete them. He was arrested and later released on $150 bail.

The second incident happened on Sunday around 2:30 p.m. Police received a report of an erratic driver on Bay State Road. Officers stopped a Ram truck on Washington Street at Pine Street. The driver, Vito Milone, had trouble finding his license and registration when police asked and smelled of alcohol, according to police.
When officers gave him a field sobriety test he could not successfully complete it.

Milone was arrested and later released on $100 bail.
