Water Meter Upgrade Program Resumes In Wellesley

Installation technicians are taking additional precautions before entering homes to help protect residents and the installers.

The Water and Sewer Division is resuming a program to upgrade residential water meters. This program was suspended this spring due to Coronavirus. Notices are now being reissued to residents who were not able to schedule appointments for the upgrades.

An independent contractor, Baystate Winsupply, is installing the new meters and is following an approved COVID-19 control plan. Installation technicians are taking additional precautions before entering homes to help protect residents and the installers.

The installation is necessary and is performed at no additional charge to residents.

Appointment notices are being sent out in a specific order so if you have not received one to date, the contractor may not have reached your section of Town.
