Wellesley 12-Year-Old Golfs With the Pros
Benjamin Chan hit the course with golfing's elite as part of the Eversource PGA TOUR Player Experience at the Travelers Championship.

WELLESLEY, MA – A 12-year-old golf fan from Wellesley got a taste of what it's like to play alongside some of the PGA's elite golfers last week.
Benjamin Chan was one of 36 junior golfers selected for the Eversource PGA TOUR Player Experience at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, CT.
As part of the experience, Chan played alongside golf pros, attended private golf clinics, participated in a Q&A with elite golfers and was treated to a private dinner reception.

The Player Experience is a collaboration between Eversource Energy, the Travelers Championship, the First Tee of Connecticut and the Connecticut Section PGA Junior Golf Association with a focus on introducing the game to young people, improving player development, increasing golf's accessibility and instilling a passion in future competitors.
Since 1952, the Travelers Championship has raised more than $33 million for charity and last year generated more than $1.5 million for upwards of 140 charities throughout Connecticut.
