Wellesley Detours Scheduled For Roadwork
Detours will be put in place at Radcliffe Road and Brook and Benvenue streets in Wellesley so the town can install new utility lines.
WELLESLEY, MA — The Department of Public Works announced detours at the intersection of Radcliffe Road and Brook and Benvenue streets will be put in place to install new utility lines. The detours are scheduled for Monday, July 29 Monday, Aug. 12 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
"Road detours are required to accomplish the work and detours will be in place for the intersection of Brook Street, Benvenue Street and Radcliffe Road," DPW officials said in a statement. "Detours and detour signage will be setup for the intersection and surrounding area, with limited access through the intersection area. Police officers and DPW staff will be on-site to assist with the detours."
Town officials said the intention is to complete the work by Aug. 12, but bad weather could cause delays. Project updates can be found on the Wellesley town website.
