Wellesley Firefighters Quickly Contain Garage Fire

WELLESLEY, MA — Wellesley fire crews quickly brought a garage fire under control on Wednesday afternoon. The fire started in a garage attached to a home on Washburn Avenue.

The call for the fire was made just before 4 p.m. Wellesley police assisted fire crews and said there were no injuries. Weston fire crews were on scene to help as well.

Smoke could be seen billowing out of the front of the garage and flames were pouring out of a side window.

No word on the cause of the fire.
