Wellesley High School Graduation Guide
Graduation will be held Friday, June 2. Here's everything you need to know.

WELLESLEY, MA – Wellesley High School's senior class will graduate on Friday, June 2 at Hunnewell Field. Graduation begins at 5 p.m. Here's what you need to know about the ceremony, via Wellesley Public Schools.
Mandatory graduation rehearsal will begin Friday, June 2 at 8 a.m. Caps and gowns will be given at this time.
Hunnewell Field will open at 4 p.m. There will be no seat saving as last year many parents were unable to find a seat in the bleachers due to blankets and saver markers. A police officer at the State Street service road will direct people up the road to drop off family members. There is no parking in this area.

If the ceremony is moved indoors, the district will post an announcement on the high school website and email home by 9 a.m. Friday morning.

How many tickets will each family get for indoor graduation?
In total, each graduate will get 7 tickets.
- Gymnasium - 3 Tickets (graduation takes place in the gymnasium).
There will be bleacher seating. Enter through the front main door, not the Rice Street entrance. There is an elevator on the first floor for those who need assistance.
The auditorium and the cafeteria will have a live simulcast of the ceremony.
- Auditorium - 2 Tickets - Entrance will be through the front main door.
- Cafeteria - 2 Tickets - Entrance will be through the front main door.
Where do you get tickets?
Graduates will be handed their tickets at graduation rehearsal on Friday morning with their cap and gown. The tickets will be color coded by the area to which they grant access. Ask your student for the tickets after they return from rehearsal.
What time will the school be open for general seating to begin?
The gym, auditorium and cafeteria will be open for general seating at 4 p.m. The ceremony begins promptly at 5 p.m. Wellesley police and faculty members will be collecting your tickets.
Parking
Parking is limited, so you may drop off elderly family members at the front entrance.

Enter the graduate’s last name, school name and select 2017 as the graduating year to search for their photos.
