Wellesley High Top 10 on List of Best Public High Schools in Massachusetts

WHS cracked the top 10 on Niche's rankings of best public high schools in Massachusetts. Here's how it was graded.

WELLESLEY, MA – Wellesley High School landed in the top 10 on Niche.com's 2017 list of 100 best public high schools in Massachusetts. The list of top public high schools was compiled by Niche based on criteria such as academics and student outcomes.

Niche, a website for researching schools, used a variety of factors, including SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges students consider and reviews from students and parents for its ranking.
The site ranked Wellesley No. 4, behind Lexington High, Cambridge Rindge and Latin and Newton North.

Each school received a "report card" based on Niche's individual criteria and an overall score. Here's how it graded WHS:
