Wellesley Hit-and-Run Driver Sought
Police are searching for a white SUV that allegedly knocked a middle school student to the ground.

WELLESLEY, MA – The Wellesley Police Department is looking for an alleged hit-and-run driver who knocked over a student earlier this week. According to police, the incident happened around 7:35 a.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of Calvin Road and Kingsbury Street.
Police said a Wellesley Middle School student and friend were walking their bicycles Calvin Road when a white SUV turned left and failed to stop. The car allegedly struck the front tire of the student's bicycle, knocking the student to the ground.
The driver allegedly did not stop and continued down Calvin Road. The student did not suffer any injuries but did have wet clothes as a result of falling to the ground.
