Wellesley Honors Veterans With Ceremony

Wellesley hosts its official Veterans’ Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at 10:55 a.m. in the Great Hall of the Wellesley Town Hall.

The program is as follows:

10:45 a.m. Assemble in the Great Hall at the Wellesley Town Hall

• Tolling of Memorial Bell in Remembrance of Great War Armistice
• Recognition of Wellesley citizens who died in the Great War – Veterans’ Officer
• Salute to the Dead – Veterans’ Council Rifleman, John L. Saunders
• “TAPS”
• Benediction – Veterans’ Council Chaplain, Kenneth Johnson, USN
• 11:30 a.m. Conclusion of Program
• Recognition of Participants and Guests
• Recognition of United States Marine Corps Birthday on Nov. 10
