Wellesley Honors Veterans With Ceremony
The official Veterans' Day Ceremony includes recognition of Wellesley citizens who died in the Great War and a "salute to the dead."

Wellesley hosts its official Veterans’ Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at 10:55 a.m. in the Great Hall of the Wellesley Town Hall.

10:45 a.m. Assemble in the Great Hall at the Wellesley Town Hall
- Tolling of Memorial Bell in Remembrance of Great War Armistice
- Recognition of Wellesley citizens who died in the Great War – Veterans’ Officer
- Salute to the Dead – Veterans’ Council Rifleman, John L. Saunders
- “TAPS”
- Benediction – Veterans’ Council Chaplain, Kenneth Johnson, USN
- 11:30 a.m. Conclusion of Program
- Recognition of Participants and Guests
- Recognition of United States Marine Corps Birthday on Nov. 10
