Wellesley Installs New Town Signs
The signs are the result of the Wellesley Square Wayfinding and Branding Project that began in 2016.

WELLESLEY, MA — Want to know where to go in Wellesley Square? Just follow the signs. New wayfinding signs, identifying the area and directing drivers and pedestrians to key community locations, were recently installed in Town.
Their purpose - to help visitors and residents find their way to shopping, parking, transportation and recreation locations throughout the Square to keep these commercial areas healthy and prosperous. The signs are the result of the Wellesley Square Wayfinding and Branding Project that began in 2016 and was funded by a $10,000 grant from the Massachusetts Downtown Initiative.
The green and white signs have a floral background and an image of Town Hall, a design that is general enough to be used throughout the Town. In total, there will be fifteen locator signs and eleven parking signs installed in a variety of locations.
