Wellesley Man Charged With Possession of Child Porn
A 19-year-old Wellesley man who had a seasonal job as a custodian at an elementary school is out on bail after being charged with Child Porn

WELLESLEY, MA — A Richland Road man who was a summer custodian at a local elementary school was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography Thursday.
The man, who is 19 years old, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment at the Dedham District Court and was released on $2,500 bail with severe restrictions, according to the Norfolk District Attorney's office.
Those restrictions included that he must wear a GPS monitoring devise on his ankle, he not have unsupervised contact with minors, he is not permitted to work with anyone under 18, his probation officer has to approve of any jobs and he has to notify any potential employee of his situation. He also has restrictions on internet and tech use: He is not permitted to communicate with minors or in a way that could connect him to minors via the internet or online service or any way having interactions with minors. He's also not permitted to possess any data encryption technique or program, pornographic or sexually explicit materials, according to the Norfolk District Attorney's office.

Wellesley Police notified families of those taking part in programs at Bates Elementary School this summer of the arrest of the man, who they said was a summer seasonal custodian there.
"While employed at Bates, he was under the direct supervision of a full-time custodian at all times, and authorities say there is no indication that he has had any inappropriate contact with children," said the Swellesly Report yesterday.

According to the District Attorney's office the 19-year-old is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on September 6.
