Wellesley Players To Hold Auditions For 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'

Aug. 23, 24 auditions held at Christ Church United Methodist.

The Wellesley Players will be auditioning for their fall play, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," Aug. 23 & 24, 7 p.m. in the basement of Christ Church, United Methodist, 2 Brook St, Wellesley.

The Players will hold auditions for all parts in Dale Wasserman's dramatic tale of an energetic con man, Randle Patrick McMurphy, who seeks institutionalization to escape a prison work farm, according to the Players web site. He challenges the dictatorial Nurse Ratched, irrevocably altering the destiny of those in the ward. The play is based on the novel by Ken Kesey and  directed by JulieAnn Charest Govang, with production support by Rita Ford and Lloyd Tarlin.

The performance will be held Nov. 19-21 at the Sorenson Center for the Arts at Babson College.
