Wellesley Police Asking Residents To Report Car Break-Ins

After reviewing video provided by neighbors, Wellesley police believe there may have been other break-ins beside one on Washburn Avenue.

WELLESLEY, MA — Police are investigating an unlocked car break-in on Washburn Avenue that they believe happened sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning. But because of video Wellesley residents provided police, officers believe there may have been additional break-ins.

So far, the Washburn Avenue break-in was the only one reported during that timeframe. If you were the victim of a car break-in, Wellesley Police ask that you contact Officer DiCenso or Detective Connelly at 781-235-1212. Residents can also reach the officers at the following emails: gdicenso@wellesleyma.gov or cconnelly@wellesleyma.gov.
