Wellesley Police Warn of Possible Home Scam
A man told police two men spoke to him on Saturday and then entered his home under possible false pretenses.
WELLESLEY, MA – The Wellesley Police Department is investigating a potential scam reported Saturday. A resident told police he spoke to two men outside of his home. They looked at the outside of the house and then entered the home under possible false pretenses, police said.
The were inside the house for a few minutes, but the caller does not believe anything was taken since he was with them the entire time.
The Wellesley Police Department is actively investigating. If any other incidents like this have occurred, please call the department immediately at 781-235-1212. Officer Ron Poirier is investigating this incident.
