Wellesley QB Named a Patch 'Player of the Week'

Jack Tishman led the Raiders to a 36-28 win over the weekend to cap an undefeated season.

WELLESLEY, MA – The Raiders won their seventh straight to finish the season a perfect 7-0, led by junior quarterback Jack Tishman.

Tishman excelled both in the air and on the ground in Wellesley's two-day 36-28 win over Milton to take the Bay State Herget title.

The gunslinger's performance was highlighted by high school sports reporter Bob Holmes in his latest Patch "Players of the Week." Here's what Holmes had to say:

Jack Tishman, Wellesley — The junior quarterback led the Raiders to the Bay State Herget title in a 36-28 win over Milton that took two days to complete. Tishman threw two second-half touchdown passes along with running for two scores as Wellesley finished the regular season 7-0 and the No. 2 seed in Division 1A South.
