Wellesley Ranks Low Among Area Schools in Campus Crime
Wellesley College experienced the state's least amount of crime.

An interactive map created by law firm Panish Shea & Boyle highlights the colleges and universities in each state reporting the most and least amount of crime, as well as the crimes committed, including burglary, aggravated assault and sexual assault.
BostInno reported that the firm looked up the crime data for schools listed on Forbes’ Top Colleges list, made available through the Clery Act. Under the Clery Act, schools that receive federal funding are required to publish campus crime statistics annually.
In Massachusetts, Wellesley College experienced the state’s least amount of crime, with 22 incidents reported.
