Wellesley Resident Named to The Partnership Board of Directors
The Partnership, Inc. is a conglomerate of professionals dedicated to furthering corporate diversity.

Wellesley, MA – A Wellesley resident been named to the board of directors of The Partnership, Inc., an organization dedicated to furthering economic competitiveness in the Boston area through creating an environment for diverse professionals to thrive.
Atul Varma was one of five new members appointed to the board.
Varma is managing director and head of business strategy at BNY Mellon Wealth Management and oversees the company's digital strategy, acquisitions, divestitures and partnering. Prior to that role, he served as the CFO of wealth management. He is a graduate of The Partnership's Next Generation Executive Program and is the chairman of the board of trustees of the Bessie Tartt Wilson Initiative for Children, Inc., as well as a member of the board of overseers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

In addition to Varma, Tsedal Neeley, Mark Touhey, Liz Cheng and Kenneth Leonetti were named to the board.
"Boston is an incredibly diverse community and we believe organizational leadership should be a reflection of its larger community," Carol Fulp, president and chief executive officer of The Partnership, said in a press release. "The addition of Liz, Ken, Tsedal, Mark and Atul to our board will strengthen the effectiveness of our organization’s work in an increasingly diverse Boston community and throughout the Commonwealth."
