Boston law firm Sherin and Lodgen LLP announces that Sara Jane Shanahan was named to the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly 2015 list of “Top Women of Law.” This prestigious award is given to an elite group of women lawyers who have made important contributions to the legal community through outstanding leadership, vision, passion, and advocacy. Additionally, Shanahan serves as Secretary of the Wellesley Club, which promotes literary and social culture among its members, with a focus on discussions relating to the governance and welfare of the Town of Wellesley. An ardent supporter of the Girl Scouts, Shanahan is a Troop Leader and has served on the planning committee for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts’ “Leading Women Awards” event, which raises money to support the programs and properties sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.
