Wellesley Residents Joins Diabetes Group For Fenway Tour
The tour is one of many Joslin events aiming to encourage pediatric patients and their families to foster relationships with each other.

From Joslin Diabetes Center: Wellesley resident Jake Nangle (age 18) and his father, Rob, toured Fenway Park with fellow pediatric diabetes patients at Joslin Diabetes Center, their families, and Joslin pediatrics staff. Despite some rain, the group kept in high spirits as they learned about the historic baseball park. The Fenway tour is one of many Joslin events aiming to encourage pediatric patients and their families to foster relationships with each other to build a personal network. Jake is about to start school at Wheaton College. He has been working with Joslin’s college transition program which works with college-bound patients as they prepare to be responsible for managing their diabetes on their own. Jake and his family have been working with Wheaton to ensure Jake has the safest and best college experience possible.
