Wellesley Scholarship Foundation Now Accepting Applications
Time to apply for the annual scholarships given by the Wellesley Scholarship Foundation.

Wellesley Scholarship Foundation (WSF) is now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 school year. WSF provides college scholarships to residents of Wellesley who attend undergraduate programs and have financial need. A four member sub-committee of Trustees oversees the annual review and selection of scholarship recipients. In 2014, WSF awarded $248,250 in need-based awards to 78 students. In addition to the need-based awards, each year two privately endowed merit scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors in recognition of outstanding achievement and citizenship.
Need-based: Need is determined using the CSS/Financial Aid Profile. All financial information is kept strictly confidential. Scholarship amounts have ranged in size from $500 to $10,000 annually and are awarded in June. It is necessary to re-apply annually for all need-based awards. In addition, WSF administers applications for the Wellesley Hills Woman’s Club, the Kiwanis Club and the Wellesley Hills Historical Society, Wellesley Newcomers’ Club, the Wellesley Merchants, the Wellesley Patrolmen’s Association.
