Wellesley Square Celebrates ‘Mom’s Day Out’

Wellesley Square is hosting “Mom’s Day Out” today. Several stores are offering discounts on everything from books to jewels.

Here is a taste of some of the discounts offered today:

: 25 percent off all pearl earrings.

: 20 percent off all framed art.

: 20 percent off any one in-store item.

Portions of the proceeds will go to Blue Star Mothers - Massachusetts Chapter and the Wellesley Student Aid Society at .

Free parking will be available at hooded meters from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event is part of the “Shop Wellesley First” initiative, which strives to ensure the vibrancy of the downtown business district.
