The Wellesley Tree House Sponsors Free Weekly Activities for Local Families During July and August

Wellesley, MA – July 23, 2015 – LINX’s Wellesley Tree House is sponsoring a free community event by providing interactive early childhood classes on the Wellesley Town Hall Green every Tuesday from July 7th – August 11th from 10am – 10:45am. The goal of each event is to provide some structured summer fun to local families while sampling the different types of classes offered at the enrichment center.

The events feature interactive enrichment classes, including music, art, family yoga, sports, stories and a Family Music Makers Concert, led by Wellesley Tree House Early Childhood Specialists. The kids have fun with instruments, scarves, parachutes, beach balls, and a limbo dance.

According to Program Director Lisa Gatto, the response to the events thus far has been overwhelming, with approximately 20 to 30 families attending each event. Parents were heard commenting, “We love it! Thank you for creating such a perfect activity for us!” and “We can’t wait to come back next week!”

“We wanted to give the community and families a place to go each week during the summer to experience our wonderful Wellesley Tree House classes. It’s a sampling each week of the different type of classes that we offer. It was amazing to see all the families outside having fun, smiling and coming together to create a community of fun!” said Gatto.

Serving Metro West, LINX is now in its ninth year of operation with over thirty premier camps, classes and early childhood programing.
