Wellesley's Best Chefs

This is what you had to say about Wellesley's best chefs and restaurants.

This week, Patch Picks directs you toward the best chefs in Wellesley, as picked my readers and Wellesley Patch:

  • - Of The Wok, reader Carolyn West writes, "I am gluten free dairy free and they always, and I mean always serve me the best food no question no matter what's on the menu they'll make it "MY WAY". There is NONE Better!! I TRAVEL ALOT AND I have yet to find a restraunt that serves consistanly wonderful gluten free and dairy free food."
  • - Of The Cottage, reader Julie Dennehy writes, "Todd has a relaxed and easygoing style and is a quiet presence in the restaurant, but always helpful and accommodating to his guests, and interested in their feedback without ego getting in the way.  I love that he and the owners, John and Laura Wolfe, have worked hard to choose local purveyors and farm-fresh ingredients, like using for the freshest seafood.  I also love that Chef Todd’s portions are large enough so you feel you are getting a great value, but not overwhelming.  I also love how he takes a classic dish and adds his own flair.  My SoCal friends say his Fish Tacos are as good as the ones back home; his juicy Brick Chicken really flavorful and a favorite of a friend of mine who won’t order anything else off the menu; the Chicken Parmesan soup this winter was really flavorful and unique;  and my absolute favorite, the Granola Encrusted Mahi-Mahi, a delicious light dinner that leaves room for ordering the Fallen Chocolate Souffle Cake 'to share.'  Chef Todd is a quiet contender with big talent and a big heart, and I think he is one of the best chefs in Wellesley."
  • - The Chinese restaurant, extremely popular in Wellesley for two decades, closed last October, but this restaurant will remain a Wellesley for years to come.
  • - What list of Wellesley chefs would be complete without Wellesley's own personal celebirty chef. Tsai, aside from serving distinct East-meets-West cuisine, always takes time to chat with the public at events. (Also, he happens to be a ).
  • - Perhaps the most beloved eatery in Wellesley, The Linden Store has been serving up classic and unique cold cut sandwiches for 75 years. Brother store owners Mark and Greg are tied to the community. Each year, they sell tickets to the annual
