The new Whole Foods has opened to the public. The store was mobbed at noon today, and the expectations is it will continue to be throughout the week.
Police officers are stationed in front of the store at 448 Washington Street and at the State Street corner directing traffic, and at times, there is a lot of it.
The outdoor patio sections and the takeout window seemed to be the biggest draws.
