• Mass DCR update on Asian Longhorned Beetle in CMass (spectrumnews1.com) — West Boylston remains inside the Asian longhorned beetle restricted zone, even as nearby Shrewsbury and Holden have now been deregulated after years without new insect activity. State forest health crews are still surveying local trees repeatedly, and residents are urged to report any suspicious beetles quickly so West Boylston can eventually be cleared as well.
