• Federal Judge Approves Sale Of Martha's Vineyard Property, But Proceeds Can't Yet Be Given To Uncle Nearest Lender (afrotech.com) — A federal judge has approved selling a Martha’s Vineyard house at 471 West Tisbury Road in Edgartown, tied to the Uncle Nearest whiskey receivership. The property, used partly for marketing and connections in nearby Oak Bluffs, will be sold for about $2.6 million, though proceeds can’t yet go to the lender while litigation continues.
