5 Things to Know Today: Feb. 8

Story time for babies, seminar for new home buyers, and the 16th Annual Free Throw event: there is a lot happening in Westborough today.

1. The is hosting Bookbabies at 10:30 a.m. The one-hour story time is designed for children ages 1 to 2 with caregivers. No registration required for this free program.

2. You can help out to raise money for the Parent Group (APG) by eating at Uno’s today. Tell your server that you are there for Armstrong School, and will donate 20% of your check to the APG. This applies to lunch, dinner, dine-in or take out.

3. Thewill meet today at 6 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and takes place in the lower level of Town Hall. Should Westborough create the position of Deputy Police Chief? That is one of the issues that will be discussed at tonight’s meeting.

4. First time home buyers are invited to a free seminar at today at 6 p.m. The event is presented by , and participants will have a chance to ask questions about buying a home.

5.  The 16th Annual Free Throw Event presented by the takes place at 6:30 p.m. at Mill Pond School. The competition is designed for children ages 10 to 14. Registration takes place at 6:30 p.m.
