5 Things to Know Today: Wednesday, Dec. 29

1. Storytime with Miss Tina takes place this morning at 10:00 in the event room at Tatnuck Booksellers. The event is free and open to the public.

2. Westborough Little League's Spring 2011 registration is open now through Jan. 15, 2011. Cost varies depending on the type of program chosen. There is a $25 discount for registering before Dec. 31, 2010. Online registration is open on the Westborough Little League Website.

3. The Boroughs JCC "Brick by Brick" Campaign is currently underway. The organization is building a patio and walkway in front of its building on Oak Street. A commemorative brick can be purchased with a personalized message. The money raised through the campaign will be used for scholarships, capital improvements, capital reserves, and a seed building fund. 4. Anyone interested in donating flowers to the St. Stephen's Church Chancel for a Sunday morning is asked to sign the flower chart in the church Vestry. Flower donations are accepted for any number of reasons, such as commemorating a special occasion or giving in memory or honor of someone. 5. Herb Chambers, owner of the Honda, Ford and Infiniti dealerships in Westborough, was recently recognized by Boston Mayor Tom Menino. Chambers donated $50,000 to the mayor's Toy Drive this holiday season.
