A Little Bit of Paradise at Profilo

Soft music, dim lights, an inviting space, and expert staff transport patrons to a relaxing place at Profilio Wellness Center in the Lyman Street Plaza. Founded in 1999, Profilio offers a wide range of spa services performed by trained estheticians.

Facials, massages, waxing, body wraps and other treatments for the body, hands, and feet may be booked individually, or as part of a package.

Owner Alfredo Speziale, a native of Pescara, Italy, told Westborough Patch, "All of our treatments are 100 percent guaranteed. Our staff undergo intensive, frequent training, and internal and external certification. We strongly believe in training."

Profilio offers a variety of facials. From a glycolic grape peel veil to a pumpkin spice facial, treatments address individual needs. Esthetician Danielle Bucchieri describes two types of facials. She said, "We offer the physio facial using Physiodermie products, which is great for preventative maintenance. We also do soothing aromatherapy facials using a product line called Keyano Aromatics. These products contain essential oils, and are 95 percent pure compared to other lines which are about 35 percent pure."

Body treatments are tailored to the time of year. Spring and summer include the mango body wrap, body contour treatment, and coconut lime wrap. Profilio also offers hot stone therapy, Swedish massage, and sports massage. Hand treatments range from a Dead Sea Salt Glow to a Peppermint Stick Hand Treatment.

Speziale said, "When you walk into our spa, you walk away from the madness. Between the music and the essential oils, you unwind into your own peaceful world."
