WESTBOROUGH, MA — Graduating seniors at Westborough High School and Assabet Valley Vocational School have an opportunity to earn scholarship funding as they prepare for their next chapter.
The Westborough Athletic and Social Association announced that it will award five $1,500 scholarships this year to support local students pursuing higher education.
For Westborough High School seniors, three scholarships are available. There are two $1,500 Founder's Scholarships and one $1,500 scholarship in partnership with Prototype Training Systems. The deadline to apply for those is Apr. 30
WASA will also offer a Vocational Scholarship of $1,500 to a Westborough resident who is graduating from a vocational high school. The application deadline for this scholarship is also Apr. 30.
Beyond high school, WASA also supports students already in college. A Returning College Sophomore Scholarship of $1,500 will be awarded to a Westborough resident who has completed their freshman year and will enter their sophomore year this fall. The deadline for this scholarship is July 31, 2026.
Applications for the Founder’s, Partnership and Vocational scholarships are available through the Westborough High School and Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School guidance offices, through WASA members, or online here.
Applications for the Returning College Sophomore Scholarship can be obtained through the Westborough Recreation Department.
