Westborough Calls On Business Leaders To Join Economic Development Committee

WESTBOROUGH, MA — The town is looking for a local business leader to help shape Westborough's economic development efforts.

One vacancy is available on the Economic Development Committee for a representative of a company located in Westborough, according to a town announcement. Applications are due on Sept. 3.

The 11-member committee promotes business development, advises town officials on economic development policy, and meets with leaders of existing and prospective Westborough businesses.

The panel, established through a 2008 Special Town Meeting article, includes town officials and seven appointed business leaders from Westborough companies, according to the town.

Interested applicants can visit the town's Board Members page and select "Apply."
