Westborough Firefighter Retires After Nearly 3 Decades

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A longtime Westborough firefighter retired Monday after nearly three decades of service to the community.

Firefighter Kenneth Milligan retired on Monday after serving 27 years with the Westborough Fire Department. He previously spent another 10 years serving in Blackstone, Northbridge and Northborough.

Milligan worked in the department’s Fire Prevention Division later in his career, focusing on community risk reduction.

“Thank you Ken for your service and please know that you will be missed,” the Westborough Fire Department said in announcing his retirement.
