The Town of Westborough is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Assistant Treasurer/Collector. This position assists the Treasurer/Collector with in maintaining and directing the Town's cash and investments, proper collection of all assessed taxes and water and sewer charges, issuance and funding of all checks, processing payroll. This position may act as Treasurer/Collector in his/her absence. The selected applicant must be bondable.
Applicants shall possess an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified applicants will have knowledge of payroll processing and working knowledge of federal, state and municipal laws and procedures related to Treasurer and Collector. Applicants with experience using MUNIS payroll system preferred.
