Auditions for Children's Chorus Ready to Begin

The Worcester Children’s Chorus (WCC) is scheduling auditions for its 2012-2013 season. The chorus is open to boys and girls throughout Worcester County ages 8 to 18 for placement in one of four treble ensembles as well as a new young men’s chorus. Auditions begin April 27 and run through the spring.

Membership includes professional instruction in vocal technique, music theory, sight singing, ear training and presentation, as well as exposure to a variety of choral styles.

The WCC recent performed with the Assabet Valley Mastersingers, with the Worcester Chorus, at the Worcester Art Museum, at Mechanics Hall and at the DCU Center for the Worcester Sharks.
