Ballot is Set for Spring Town Election
The deadline to pull out of the election passed on Feb. 2.

The Feb. 2 deadline for potential candidates to withdraw from the March 6 election came and went without changes. That means that the Westborough ballot is firm and includes nine residents running for eight open positions. The Board of Selectmen race will be the only contest, with three men running for two open positions.
Here are open positions and the names of residents who will be on the Spring Town Election ballot.

Board of Selectmen, two open three-year seats:

- George Barrette, 237 West Main St.
- Denzil Drewry, 9 Denfeld Dr.
- Andrew Reinach, 5 Nipmuck Dr.
Assabet Valley Regional Vocational School Committee, one open four-year term:
- Paul George, incumbent, 19 Robin Rd.
Planning Board, one open five-year position:
- Brian Bush, 7 Smith St.
School Committee, one open three-year term:
- Nicole D. Sullivan, 29 Wayside Rd.
Trustees of the Public Library, three openings:
- Karen Fay, incumbent, 28 Ruggles St.
- James Holmes, incumbent, 244 Flanders Rd.
- Carolyn Spring, 12 Deerslayer Lane
Residents of voting age have until Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. to register for Town Election and the March 17 Annual Town Meeting. The Spring Town Election will take place on March 6 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The office is to the right after entering the front doors of
