Elsie Kaye Gift Shop &amp; Artisan Studio In 2009, on a whim, Holly Kenny took a flameworking class and learned to make glass beads. This sparked a love of glass art and led to the launch her business, Elsie Kaye Gift Shop and Art Studio in downtown Westborough. Holly currently teaches flameworking and metalworking at her studio and is on the faculty at the New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. Holly loves the fluidity and movement of glass and enjoys incorporating metals, enamels and other elements that can change the texture and appearance of the glass. As a result, much of her work takes on an abstract, organic feel. Her work, under the name Elsie Kaye Glassworks, can be found at more than 50 boutiques and galleries across the country. Holly is passionate about promoting emerging local artists by selling their work at her retail shop, as well as helping to foster connections with new and existing businesses in the local area. She is an active member of her community, where she has lived with her husband and two children since 2006.

We offer glass beadmaking (flameworking) and metalwork/jewelry classes to teens and adults. For ages 7 and up, we offer summer and school vacation art camps. Westborough Community Land Trust invites its members and all Westborough residents to a family fun event to discover the newly renovated trails at Bowman Conservation Area. Three hikes of different lengths begin at 1:30 pm at the Bowman Conservation Area pavilion. Children's games will be at 2:30 and 3:30, and a participatory drumming circle with renowned musician Otha Day is slated for 2:30. A free burrito picnic will be offered at 3:00. Bring your own lawn chairs.Because of limited parking, park at Minute Man Park on Upton Road to be shuttled to Bowman Street.
