What To Know About Westborough's 2026 Memorial Day Parade
Memorial Day honors U.S. service members who died while serving, and communities across the country mark the holiday.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — Memorial Day honors U.S. service members who died while serving, and communities across the country mark the holiday with ceremonies, parades and visits to local memorials and cemeteries.
In Westborough, the Memorial Day Remembrance and Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Cemetery. Buses will then depart for Pine Grove Cemetery, where an observance is scheduled for 10:25 a.m. The parade will leave Baxter Street at 10:40 a.m. and is expected to arrive at the Forbes Memorials at 11 a.m.
Refreshments will be provided by VFW Post 9013 at 11:45 a.m. Peter Guellnitz, a U.S. Army veteran, will serve as grand marshal.

A National Moment of Remembrance is also held at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day, when Americans are encouraged to pause for one minute of silence to honor those who died in military service.
Separately, Westborough is also planning events later this summer to mark America's 250th anniversary. Fireworks, reenactments and horse-drawn carriages are among the events planned for June 26 at Bay State Commons as part of celebrations tied to the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
