In celebration of Heart Month, the Westborough Public Library presents Dr. Malissa Wood, author of Smart at Heart: A Holistic 10-Step Approach to Preventing and Healing Heart Disease for Women. She will be speaking about her new book on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women, causing one in three deaths each year. According to a revolutionary study by Harvard-trained cardiologist Malissa Wood, true cardiovascular health must address the whole heart – its physical, emotional and spiritual aspects. Her findings form the basis of Smart at Heart, a breakthrough mind-body approach to preventing and healing heart disease by strengthening the ten “bridges” that create total heart health.
