Dollar Tree Planning to Hire Around 30 Employees
The Dollar Tree store will conduct interviews on June 8, 11, 14 and 15.
Joining nearby Dollar Tree stores in Ashland, Marlborough, and Hudson, the Dollar Tree plans to open an 11,500 square foot store at the site of the former Lincoln Pharmacy in the Westmeadow Plaza around June 30, according to Jamie St. Pierre, its manager.
The Dollar Tree website shows that the store carries a wide variety of items, including floral, party and office supplies, arts and crafts, toys and games, health, personal care, cleaning, storage and hardware items, BBQ related goods, picture frames, and beach and pool toys.

There is a “teacher corner” that features classroom decor and supplies, arts and crafts, certificates and awards, and books. The Dollar Tree runs weekly ads, and has in-store specials and an in-store item of the week. There is a constant supply of new items and close-outs.

How many employees will you hire? Around 30. I will be doing onsite interviews on Friday (June 8), Monday (June 11), Thursday (June 14) and Friday (June 15) from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on all these days.
What sort of items will you carry? Everything from frozen and refrigerated foods to everyday household needs and seasonal merchandise.
Who owns the Dollar Tree? We are a corporately owned company, not franchised. We trade on the NYSE stock ticker:DLTR.
How many Dollar Stores are there in Massachusetts? We have 60+ locations in Massachusetts.
What's your experience as a store manager? 6 years

How will you compete with Ocean State Job Lot? Having worked for Ocean State in the past I can tell you that just like their customers, our customers are also always looking for a super deal at a great price.
Why did the Dollar Tree decide to open a store in Westborough? I can't speak for my company on why they chose Westborough. My guess would be that they wanted to bring great values at low prices to a new community.
